Details are available on the Kia Forte

Kia Forte models distributed by Naza Kia Sdn. Limited. Launched almost a year already and today my intention to write a few brief remarks regarding the sporty model has been reached. This model is actually one of the caught my attention before it was launched again just by looking at the photos featured in local and international motoring blog. I've seen a recent Forte with full bodykit and twin exhaust tips behind, it looks very impressive and attractive.

Although vehicles from brands such as Kia and Hyundai Korea still remain with the stigma of a second after the Japanese brands, for my Korean-made vehicles are moving too far away and stand on par with the Japanese brand products, as well as Europe. What you need to do to prove my word is true or not just by looking at their new line started in 2009 until now. Everything comes with a pretty interesting design and modern technology, on par with the Japanese and European brands.
Returning to the model Kia Forte better known by the name Naza Forte, I get confused sometimes look to the Naza badge emblazoned on the front grill model. Perhaps due to Naza Forte is installed locally at the Naza plant, then it becomes a model direbadge by name Naza Forte and still retained. Naza Forte for the local market has two different types of engines, namely the 1.6 liter engine and 2.0 liters. There are three variants of the 1.6 EX, 1.6 SX and 2.0 SX. 1.6 EX variant is the most basic model (baseline) and 1.6 SX variants are intermediate models. The two variants of the 1.6 DOHC CVVT Gamma engine has a horsepower of 124ps @ 6,300 rpm and torque of 156 @ 4,200 rpm.
The highest and most complete variant is a variant of the 2.0-liter specification supplied engine Theta II 2.0 DOHC CVVT, capable of dissipating high horse 156ps @ 6,200 rpm and a torque of 194Nm @ 4,300 rpm. The three variants of the four-speed automatic transmission equipped 4AT (Gate Type), H-Matic / Shiftronic. Naza Forte 1.6 EX installed size 15 inch wheel rims, has fog lights and ABS brake safety system. Variant is also fitted twin front airbags for driver and front passenger. All variants are equipped audio system with USB connectivity and an iPod music player.

Looking to 1.6 SX variants, this model is good enough to be competitive with some advantages over 1.6 EX variant. It is equipped with sporty 17-inch rims and have modern technology Rear Parking Assist System (RPAS) which helps the driver when putting the vehicle in the car park. One of the interesting features is to have a smart key or 'smart key' and the engine starter button push-button 'that can turn on and turn off the engine in one easy step.

Aside from the ABS, 1.6 SX variants have several other features for safety and comfort driving as electronic stability control (ESC), electronic brake distribution (EBD), cornering brake control (CBC), Brake Assist System (BAS) and traction control system (TCS ). Variant 'high-range' Naza Forte 2.0 SX is equipped with some additional features that are more luxurious than what is in the previous variant. It has a 'Motor Driven Power Steering' (MDPS) of electric power steering, cushion with premium leather wraps, six airbags, four 'brake-disc' and 17-inch sport rim, the interior with black themes, 3-spoke steering wheel and adjustable, air-conditioning with control system auto-climate 'full audio system with six-CD converter and various other features.

On the market in our country competitive and so much competition, the price of a new vehicle plays a critical role to boost the sales momentum. Therefore to get a good market space, the price placed for Naza Forte model I think is very reasonable with what is offered. Naza Forte 1.6 EX offer price of RM75, 800.00, 1.6 SX variants of RM81, 800.00 and 2.0 SX variants of RM93, 800.00, all with the road price (OTR price). Naza Forte comes with six colors: Clear White, Bright Silver, Metal Bronze, Titanium Silver, Spicy Red and Ebony Black.
My personal opinion, Naza Forte is a model that is so worth it to have. Present with an attractive sporty design, full of modern and latest specifications, engine power, and the most important is that they are still well below the RM100k, even for variants such as 2.0 SX. Some may cynically say primarily the lack of resale price (price applies) usually falls to its lowest level after a few years, for me it was not a big deal. All car brands certainly have great value price drop after a few years, not only involving the Kia brand vehicles only.

If you are interested to know more, Naza Kia Sdn Bhd as the official distributor has made a special mini-site interesting for the model. You can get all required information and after this you may not be unspeakable anything else, like a mini-website with the motto, "Leaves You speechless". You can access http://www.forte.my/.

Advantages and disadvantages of Kia Forte car.

Kia start the competition with C-segment sedan model in the local market through Sephia model. It was later replaced with a model Spectra. The offered price is much cheaper when compared to the Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla that has long dominated the market.
Many years passed, Sephia or Spectra is not a big impact. In fact, no exaggeration to say that it is possible some could not imagine the look of the models if they were asked about it.
The failure was attributed to many factors. These include the Kia brand that has not been strong, less attractive design, as well as the Korean automotive technology is still considered to fall behind when compared with the Japanese and European manufacturers.

However, all attempts to repair and weaknesses identified. As a result, Kia appears to be more confident with the model known as the Forte. Forte in the Malaysian market campaign started in November 2009. Since then, consumers have started paying attention to the Korean sedan, though still able to feel skeptical completely eliminated.
Even so, the external and internal design Forte seen to some extent succeeded in attracting consumers. Especially those who want a mid-sized sedan and not affixed with Proton badge.
In March 2011, Forte received improvements. Most notable is the application of the six-speed Shiftronic automatic transmission that replaces the previous four-speed transmission. Not only that, the facelift model also received some upgrades in terms of cosmetic appearance.
Distributed by Naza Kia Malaysia Sdn. Limited. (Naza Kia), Forte is available in three variants. Depending on engine displacement of either 1.6 or 2.0 liters. In addition to several other features which distinguish between these variants.
Before this, I had to test drive the Forte models with 1.6 liter engines. Experience driving from Kuala Lumpur to Penang, however, not an effect, but it look interesting. Other aspects, many of which have been forgotten. There is nothing really 'wow!' On the car.
A year passed. I tested back Forte. But this time is a more powerful variant, the 2.0-liter. It should be recognized, Forte 2.0 SX which could test drive for a few days really surprised me.
What can be offered by Forte certainly exceeded expectations. If you can drive to turn a blind eye, not sure anyone would believe that it is a Korean car. Not my intention to accuse Korean products previously not good. But the transformation of the quality of all the terms have changed totally.
There are many things that will make you love this model. Especially when many of the features that are usually available on more luxurious models installed in Forte 2.0 SX. To get into the cabin, you just have to press the small black button on the handlebars door.
Smart key does not require the driver to turn the key before the engine menghidupklan. Just press the brake and the button Start / Stop and the engine will survive. If through a tunnel or a dark street, main lights will flash automatically. When it rains, the mirror polishing already know to do his job without having to manually direct the driver.
No need to worry for reverse parking. This is true because the rear of the car will be displayed on the rear view mirror as your guide. With a color display and angular lines, parked vehicles had been so easy. That's the fancy features that I have said.
In the cabin, the meter receives optitron graphics and a new backlight. Gear lever is also a new unit of better designs. Want to change gear manually? You can do so through the paddle shifters mounted on the back of the steering wheel.
True, the external appearance of the subjective nature. Beautiful in our eyes, may not be acceptable in the eyes of others. But Forte 2.0 might be a different case. Difficult to say it's a bad car designs.
With Kia's signature grille design, the front looks neat through the use of a thin main lights. For better lighting at night, a pair of fog lights were installed at the bottom of the bumper.
Praise should be given to designing the back of Forte. It's pretty neat and sporty through a combination of thin backlight and a bold bumper bottom. Side mirror housings accommodate thin LED lights. It can also be folded electrically.
Kia Forte 2.0 2011.14
Unlike the 1.6 variant that feel a little heavy, DOHC CVVT engine unit more satisfying. Rarely you will feel the loss of power, especially when I want to pass other vehicles or through a hilly route. Smooth and quick gear exchange, makes you lazy to use the paddle shifter. NVH levels Forte 2.0 SX is also to be commended. Wind noise or external noise can be heard in the cabin to a minimum.
Do all of the above makes Forte a perfect medium size sedan? Yes, Forte actually almost perfect. There's just some things that I think could be improved.
First, the floor carpet that feels so smooth. During the first drive, there is also a feeling worried and depressed skid feet on the gas pedal when they should not.
Second, canned or bottled beverages cool and put parking spaces in the center console drink will probably be warm after driving in some time. More so if you are stuck in traffic jams.
Yes, this could happen to most cars, but Forte has purchased melted chocolate makes quite significantly even though the distance between the center of the Sunway Pyramid shopping to my house which is not far.
Finally, my question is to what extent the resale value of Forte for five or ten years. If the price does not fall to the level saith, Honda and Toyota may have to worry from now

Facts you need to know about Naza Forte in Malaysia

Here's my thought about Naza Forte.

Naza Kia Malaysia Sdn Bhd (892406-V) is the official distributor for Kia Motors vehicles in Malaysia. The company was appointed by Kia Motors Corporation, South Korea's second largest automobile manufacturer, in the late 90s.

The company became a full-fledged auto-assembler in 2001 with the introduction of the locally-assembled Kia Spectra. Several locally-assembled Kia models that were subsequently launched such as the Naza Ria MPV, the Sorento and the Sportage quickly became market leaders in their respective segments.
The Kia brand's success in Malaysia was one of the key factors behind the Naza Group's decision to set up the Naza Automotive Manufacturing plant in Gurun, Kedah. The Naza Group later established the Naza Kia Academy in Gurun with the objective of providing human capital development to Naza Kia Malaysia and other subsidiaries in the Naza Group.

In 2009, Naza Kia Malaysia launched the Forte which has become one of the most successful C-segment sedans in the market and has garnered multiple awards from both local and international bodies.
Among the awards it was won includes the People's Choice Award at the NST/Maybank Car of the Year 2010 awards and Debut Model of the Year at the 2011 Frost & Sullivan Malaysia Excellence Awards.

The launch of the Forte was followed by the launch of the new Sorento, Sportage, Optima K5 and the all-new Rio which carry Kia's latest design DNA. The Optima K5 in particular won the People's Choice Award at the NST/Maybank Car of the Year 2012 awards.
Besides Malaysia, the company currently exports the locally-assembled Kia Pregio van to Indonesia while specific components of the Forte assembled in Gurun are exported to Vietnam.
